Position Description 
Advertised Job Summary  | The Children’s Law Center is in search of an Administrative Assistant to join the Mandated Reporter Team to support the preparation and implementation of training related to recognizing and reporting child maltreatment and other child welfare related topics. Under the general supervision of the Senior Child Welfare Trainer, the Administrative Assistant will engage in tasks varying from management of registration systems, virtual meeting platforms, scheduling, completing reports, and other tasks as needed. This position provides the opportunity to be a part of a collaborative and supportive work environment focused on improving the safety and well-being of children.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Typically holds a high school diploma or GED. Requires 1 or more years of job related experience.

Preferred Qualifications  | Prefer experience in coordination of training programs, event planning, or customer service.  Experience in a legal or social services setting would be a plus, as would experience with learning management systems and/or other forms of online training
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  | This position requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) in addition to adaptability and familiarity with web-based applications. Must be highly organized and attentive to detail. Must be able to communicate effectively and courteously with staff, trainees, and vendors; these excellent communication skills must be reproducible over email, in-person, on virtual communication applications (particularly Microsoft Teams), and on the phone. Must be able to perform basic mathematical computations. Must demonstrate the ability to work well with others in an office environment.
