Molex, a worldwide leader in manufacturing, is seeking a full-time training specialist to support our busbar manufacturing facility in Monee, IL. The candidate we are looking for is a self-motivated individual with a growth mentality and willingness to learn and challenge themselves. 

Our Team
The Molex Monee facility utilizes a wide range of manufacturing equipment, and our team plans to explore new, cutting-edge technology so this person will help train team members on both new and existing equipment and software tools. 

What You Will Do
  • Conduct New Hire and Safety training. Explain safety protocols if there is an incident.
  • Develop, document, and deliver training curriculum, ensuring relevance to the business and conformance with best practices. This includes new hire training and ongoing upskilling and refreshers for all areas.
  • Collaborate in the development of a means to measure the effectiveness of training programs through testing, feedback assessments, personal observation, and verify training of trainees. Through regular collaboration with Managers, you will help to determine and support training needs of the department for both new hire training and ongoing skill-building.
  • Gather and evaluate data to make recommendations for additions and enhancements to the training program.
  • Learn new training methods and software tools to improve efficiency and understanding for the trainee.
  • Report progress of training programs to management teams.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and take direction from leaders and / or direct supervisor.
  • Ensure the functionality of training equipment and distribute training material.
  • Maintain training schedules and reserve training sessions accordingly.
  • Record attendance and monitor trainee performance.
  • Maintain records of training procedures and protocols.
  • Coordinates meetings, write and distribute emails, memos, and other information.
  • Performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Commits to and supports a collaborative and high-performing working environment with peers and managers.
  • Seizes opportunities and proactively takes concrete actions to complete tasks.
  • Responds to emerging problems in an accurate and timely manner. Where possible, leverage available resources to address situations before they occur.
  • Effectively explain Standardized guidelines and work procedures.
  • Coach and mentor employees on working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously as needed.
  • Coach and mentor how to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mentor trainee on effective ways to deal with stress and anxiety.
  • Effectively Communicate and explain OPL and work instructions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  •      Experience with onboarding training.
  •         Previous experience developing, implementing, and delivering training programs.

  • Coaching and Leadership experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and make measurements.
  • Ability to lead instructor lead courses.
  • Strong Microsoft office proficiency
  • Dozuki Software Knowledge

For this role, we anticipate paying $29/hr-$31/hr. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
