At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses.
The Training Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, delivering and assessing training programs that primarily support reimbursement, order management, patient services, and cross functional operations teams. May also conduct system or process training for sales, field, and patient education teams.
This role partners with Operations, Clinical Reimbursement, Compliance and other leaders to ensure team members are effectively trained on systems, workflows, policies and process standards that drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
The Training Specialist delivers live classroom training, virtual sessions, system-based instruction, and ongoing learning support. This role requires strong knowledge of operational workflows and the able ability to translate complex processes into clear, engaging, and practical learning experience.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Training Program Development
- Support the design, development and implementation of training programs for new hires and tenured employees
- Translate both operational and field workflows, policies, and system processes into structured learning
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and alignment with current procedures.
Training Delivery
- Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions focused on operational systems, order management, reimbursement processes, compliance requirements, internal workflows and field training programs
- Lead onboarding programs for operational, field, and cross-functional partners
- Provide structured walk-through and real-time process demonstrations
- Systems and Process Expertise
- Maintain strong understanding of internal systems, order management workflows, documentation requirements, and compliance standards
- Ensure training materials remain aligned with system updates and procedural changes
- Support system rollouts and process changes by delivering implementation training.
Education & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Training and Development or Educational Leadership OR equivalent relevant work experience
- 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Operational role within healthcare, medical device, reimbursement, or sales support environment
- Training, onboarding, coaching, or instructional delivery role
- Experience delivering training programs OR identified as a lead in training new hire onboarding and ongoing training initiatives
- Strong understanding of process documentation and workflow management skills.
Preferred:
- Strong understanding of Tactile Medical’s products, services, and market dynamics
- Direct experience with order management, reimbursement workflows, patient documentation or CRM/system platforms
- Familiarity with adult learning principles.

Below is the starting salary or hourly range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
US Pay Range
$61,500 - $86,205 USD
