General Information:
The Office of the Registrar at James Madison University is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the office as the Transfer Credit Specialist. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists with the process of reviewing transcripts for eligible credit for students
• Processes transfer credit requests for continuing students.
• Assists in updating the Transfer Credit Equivalency guide using TES (Transfer Evaluation System).
• Assists with non-traditional academic credit posting including Advancement Placement, International Baccalaureate, and others via the Office of Admissions
• Run queries and maintain transfer data integrity.
 
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to handle and prioritize a large volume of work.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of student record.
• Ability to work independently but seek advice and direction from supervisor as needed.
• Ability to serve constituents in personable and efficient manner.
