The Vice President of Human Resources & Organizational Excellence is responsible for shaping how the organization supports, develops, and aligns its people to achieve and designs its systems and processes strategic goals. This role partners closely with leadership to improve organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and internal systems that enable teams to do their best work. Provides strategic leadership for human resources and institutional transformation across functional areas. This position reports to the President and serves as a member of the President’s Cabinet and Executive Council.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 15 years of job-related experience, including:
    • 5 years of leadership experience in HR and/or organizational effectiveness, with at least 3 years in a director or executive role,
    • Higher Education experience,
    • Experience leading teams, projects, or cross-functional initiatives.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree.
  • Experience in an executive level role with responsibility for institutional-level outcomes
  • HR certification (SHRM-SCP or HRCI)
