Position Overview:

The Website Optimization Manager supports the Colibri Group marketing team by helping drive data-based decision making and purchase journey optimization through A/B & multivariate testing, reporting, analysis, and insights. With an in-depth knowledge of our data, web analytics software and our business, this position is a key contributor to the success and communication of our eCommerce efforts. 

What You'll Do

  • Derive core insights from data to suggest, create and execute A/B or multivariate tests that drive fundamental improvements to the website experience and maximize conversion rates. 
  • Use strong analytical skills, business acumen and attention to quality to provide data and analysis to assist in solving complex business problems. 
  • Conduct regular purchase journey analyses to generate actionable testing plans 
  • Develop actionable digital consumer insights to enhance the digital customer experience and improve sales & revenue across multiple eco-systems; utilizing AOV and RPV as measurable KPIs.   
  • Communicate insights and suggest improvements based on data and observed trends. 
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis such as in-depth conversion funnel analysis. 
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on testing and web analytics as well as staying abreast of industry best practices and new opportunities. 
  • Implement web analytics best practices and methodologies. 
  • Power user of Google Analytics (or comparable equivalent) and other analytics tools like heat-mapping software. 

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, math, and/or related discipline required
  • At least 3-6 years of experience in web analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
  • At least 2-3 years experience using web testing tools (VWO, Optimizely, Adobe Target, etc.)
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • A passion for problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity, and creativity
  • Ability to influence others and gain acceptance for your ideas
  • HTML, CSS and minor coding a plus
