Where we work:
This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in our Denver, CO office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
About your skills:
- Adaptive Planning or FP&A Platform: A deep understanding of Adaptive Planning to build and manage forecasting and budgeting solutions is essential. This includes experience with system setup, configuration, and optimization.
- Financial Acumen: Strong foundation in financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You must understand business KPIs and know how to translate financial requirements into functional systems.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues in financial models and tools, along with a data-driven approach to finding solutions. The ability to synthesize data and convey meaningful insights is crucial..
- Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and finance stakeholders. You must be skilled in translating business requirements into technical language and vice versa.
About this role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our financial systems team as an Adaptive Planning Business Systems Analyst. In this role, you will leverage Adaptive Planning to develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets while collaborating closely with the FP&A team and other finance stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, tackle challenging financial problems, and directly impact the organization’s planning and decision-making processes. Your work will contribute significantly to improving efficiency, accuracy, and business insights in financial operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Administer and create the roadmap of Adaptive financial planning system.
- Lead existing Adaptive models and build new modules/models as needed
- Manage data integrations into Adaptive Insights from Workday HCM, Netsuite Financials, Saleforce and other source systems as appropriate, serve as primary point of contact for FP&A and other finance business teams
- Prepare artifacts such as requirement documents, tech specs, data flow diagrams and business architecture diagrams.
- Manage business rules impacting calculations, allocations and repositories built within Adaptive insights for the purposes of facilitating the Company's annual budgeting exercise and recurring forecasts
- Plan, review, and revise configurations and customizations to meet evolving business and operational needs
- Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data integrity and standardized end user processes
- Administer other Financial Systems Business Applications such as Navan, Zip, and Contract Pod
What you’ll have:
- 5+ years of relevant consulting or relevant functional finance industry experience with at minimum of 3+ years of Adaptive experience
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or relevant field
- Knowledge or experience of financial processes, especially Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Budgeting, Accounting, Financial and Management Reporting, and Workforce Planning
- Adaptive Insights expert; Netsuite, Salesforce, Zip, Navan a plus
- Excellent data analysis skills, Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
- Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization

In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for equity.
