Job Summary
Join the Purdue University Student Health Center (PUSH) as Clerk. In this role, you will serve as the primary insurance representative for the student health insurance plan, ensuring compliance with mandatory health insurance requirements for international students. This position involves direct interaction with patients, PUSH staff, insurance representatives, and external healthcare facilities to resolve insurance-related issues and provide exceptional support.

What We're Looking For
Education and Experience:

Qualified candidates will need:
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Two (2) years of experience in general clerical office work as well as medical insurance claims
 
Skills Needed:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally. 
  • Strong organizational skills, effective problem-solving ability, excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate successfully. 
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and medical claims processing.
