Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials | Preferred Qualifications | Prefer knowledge of Graduate school policies and procedures and USC policies and procedures. Prefer proficiency in PeopleSoft and other systems currently in use at USC. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | Knowledge of USC policies and procedures and Graduate School policies and procedures. Experience in PeopleSoft HCM systems and other USC systems. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office programs. Familiarity and experience with the grant submission system for awards through the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Ability to manage a variety of administrative duties.
Job Duties
Job Duty | Provide administrative coordinative support for the DDBS chair and faculty using Microsoft Office and university-based software such as PeopleSoft. Provide administrative assistance such as correspondence, scheduling of meetings, and scheduling itinerary of guests. Other duties will include, but are not limited to: completing reimbursement forms; ordering office supplies and maintaining office equipment, i.e., service calls, etc. Maintain in good standing a VISA purchasing card account for department business and a travel card account for department travel. Serve as a receptionist for the department office. Assist with the collection of information for and assembly of the annual department report.
