Where we Work
Udemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

About this role
As an AI Product Manager at Udemy, you will own the roadmap and execution of how we use AI to solve internal business process challenges. You’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation — defining what we build and why. Working closely with stakeholders around the organization and with our AI Systems Engineers, you’ll ensure that AI solutions are aligned with user needs and business. This role is central to driving adoption of AI across the company and delivering impactful changes to the way we work at Udemy.
 
What you’ll be doing
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with cross-functional teams in order to identify opportunities where AI can improve Udemy’s business processes, employee experience, or operational efficiency.
  • Define our roadmap for internal AI initiatives, focusing on operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Gather insights from internal stakeholders and market trends to shape solution requirements.
  • Analyze and document current (“As-Is”) business processes and identify key challenges. Design optimized (“To-Be”) workflows and translate them into build-ready requirements.
  • Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for our AI Systems Engineers.
  • Partner with AI Systems Engineers to validate feasibility and shape technical solutions.
  • Monitor product performance, analyze metrics, and iterate based on results and feedback.
  • Ensure products solve real-world problems and deliver meaningful change within Udemy.
 
What you’ll have
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role focused on internal-facing products and solutions.
  • Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with executional detail.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and their practical applications within the enterprise.
  • Experience creating roadmaps and documenting requirements for technical teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence cross-functional partners.
  • Comfort working in agile environments using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret metrics and inform product decisions.
