Posting Summary
The Ask UVM Student Success Specialist hires, trains and supervises the team of student workers. Student Guides welcome students to Ask UVM (UVM’s one stop shop) and are prepared to provide broad assistance with student questions. Responsible for creating, updating, and evaluating comprehensive training for Student Guides. Develops excellent knowledge of University resources and processes to provide training as well as direct student support for more complicated or confidential questions while adhering to unit-specific Collaboration Agreements (CA).
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 3 years’ full-time experience in a student-support capacity with at least one year directly supervising a team of student workers. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Familiarity with building student work schedules. Demonstrated ability and commitment to providing responsive, empathetic, and culturally competent customer service in a student-centered environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and proven ability to learn and use new software and systems like Navigate360. Ability to create and regularly update trainings for student workers.
Desirable Qualifications
Anticipated Pay Range $55,000 to $60,000
