 Position Details 
Advertising/Posting Title  | Assistant Course Materials Buyer/e-Book Coordinator
Posting Summary  | Coordinate all phases of the digital content (e-book) components of the UVM Bookstore’s Course Materials operation, including regular contact with vendors, resolving compatibility issues, resolving online access issues, and reconciling complex invoices. Research and order course materials for the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms. Communicate with faculty in a timely and professional manner on problems or questions related to requisitions. Coordinate the Course Materials Department’s online ordering, textbook buyback and rental, and third-party seller programs. Manage the Medical Books and Supplies departments. Assist customers with book ordering and purchasing. Provide exceptional customer service and support UVM’s commitment to Our Common Ground and environmental sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)  | Associates degree and three years related retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of computer ICS and POS system software, MS Office, Adobe and ability to utilize social media required. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice and training, fostering a collaborative multicultural environment. Must be able to work some weekends, evenings and occasional University holidays with occasional overtime.
