What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Internal Audit, the Compliance Auditor is responsible for the implementation of the audit schedule pertaining to accreditation visits and compliance with department of education regulatory guidelines for Arizona College of Nursing and its affiliated schools (the “College”).
- Conduct thorough compliance audits, reviews, and testing
- Analyze and interpret audit results, identifying areas of concern and potential problems.
- Develop actionable recommendations to improve processes, controls, efficiencies, and overall compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance to campus and executive leadership on mitigating risks and conflicts.
- Execute and document compliance reviews.
- Assess compliance within regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Identify appropriate methods of resolution and options for corrective action.
- Prepare comprehensive reports to present findings to management.
- Stay up to date with current high education, Department of Education, and accreditation regulations.
- Travel up to 25% required

Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent skills and experience.
- Three years’ experience in auditing, compliance, or a similar role.
- Ability to craft clear, effective, and professional communications.
- Ability to independently research needed data and complete requirements.
- Self-starter demonstrating thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, detail oriented, deadline driven environment.
