Posting Context Statement The Center on Disabilities and Human Development (CDHD) is an independent unit within the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences. The CDHD is supported through a federal infrastructure grant with numerous projects funded through sponsored accounts. The CDHD improves the lives of people and their families by educating an interdisciplinary workforce, providing training and technical assistance within communities, conducting research, providing direct services, and disseminating evidence-based information
Position Overview This position oversees responsive and engaging customer support for child care professionals as they navigate the Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP) and state child care licensing requirements. The Customer Support Lead is responsible for delivering efficient and effective processes using data-driven decision-making to meet licensing and ICCP retention and recruitment goals
Duties include: Program Leadership and Implementation Research, Partner Engagement, and Communication Evaluation and Accountability Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications
Required Experience
Experience in a customer support role At least one year of supervision experience Experience with data entry and data management systems Experience using project management software such as Smartsheet Experience with developing client-facing and internal communications Experience using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research
Required Education | High school diploma or equivalent
Required Other | Ability to travel Ability to work nonstandard business hours which may include weekends and evening as needed
Additional Preferred | EXPERIENCE Experience with child care or early childhood systems Three years of supervisory experience Experience with progress monitoring and reporting Experience working in early childhood education or with early child care professionals Experience interpreting federal or state child care regulations/guidelines

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or Early Child Care and Education
