Data Analyst Full Description

Job Summary
The BSC Director, Dr. Reneé Moore is looking to provide a motivated individual with the opportunity to gain considerable hands-on experience in all aspects of statistical consulting and collaboration as a Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will have formal training in biostatistics, applied experience collaborating with primary investigators as an analyst or statistician, and strong communication skills. The analyst will work closely with Dr. Moore and her team on tasks such as preparing analytic datasets, data cleaning, conducting data analysis, preparing tables and graphics for publication, conducting power and sample size calculations, preparing randomization scheme generation, etc. These tasks will be performed via R and/or SAS programming. We are looking for an analyst who can work independently and be a lead analyst for ongoing and future projects.
Essential Functions
  • SAS/R programming for preparing analytic datasets, data cleaning, building/maintaining REDCap databases, preparing tables/figures.
  • Conduct analyses, e.g. power, descriptive, statistical.
  • Attend meetings with Dr. Moore, BSC team, and BSC collaborators.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or other related fields or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. 
  • Minimum of At least one year.

This position is classified as Exempt, grade K. Compensation for this grade ranges from $54,630.00 to $ 81,940.00per year.
