Director, Global Talent Acquisition

The Director of Global Talent Acquisition will be responsible for architecting and executing a cutting-edge global talent acquisition strategy that propels our business forward and aligns with our mission and values. This role will lead a team of talent acquisition professionals and work closely with senior leadership to ensure we attract and hire the best talent in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in talent acquisition, exceptional leadership skills, and experience in scaling global locations.
This exciting role at Blackbaud will form strategic partnerships with our global hiring managers to enable informed, data-driven decisions that result in the best hires. This is a high-visibility role in which you’ll work with top leaders in the SaaS industry in an environment committed to defining what "best" looks like in recruiting. This role is a member of Blackbaud’s Talent Acquisition leadership team and reports to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition & Inclusion.
This role is remote-friendly with global travel expectations, as needed.
What you'll do:
- Develop and implement global strategic talent acquisition planning that supports the company's growth objectives and aligns with our mission and values.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing global talent acquisition team to provide excellence in recruiting.
- Partner with senior leadership to understand workforce needs and develop proactive recruiting strategies.
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for all levels of the organization.
- Leverage AI and advanced technologies to streamline the recruitment process, enhance candidate experience, and improve hiring outcomes.
- Implement and utilize talent assessments as appropriate to identify the best candidates and ensure a data-driven, objective hiring process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and hiring managers to ensure a deep understanding of their talent needs and provide exceptional service.
- Partner with colleagues in other People & Culture centers of excellence to ensure a cohesive approach to talent management and employee experience.
- Drive initiatives to enhance our employer brand and attract top talent.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition; specifically, the role that AI tools plays in recruitment practices today and in the future.
- Establish measurements to assess the effectiveness of recruiting programs and adapt practices where needed to meet or exceed business goals.
- Build a leading, intentionally designed experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Enabling hiring managers and the talent team to be involved, committed, and accountable to ensuring a fair and equitable recruiting experience for all.
What you'll bring:
- Passion for Blackbaud’s mission and vision; alignment with our corporate values.
- 10+ years’ experience in corporate talent acquisition across all organizational roles/functions; 10+ years’ experience building and leading large, progressive recruiting functions within global companies preferred.
- Established experience in building Global Capability Centers in India.
- In-depth knowledge of full-cycle lateral recruiting and employer branding techniques.
- Demonstrated expertise with leading talent acquisition systems (Workday and Phenom People preferred).
- Understands opportunities and impacts of predictive and GenAI initiatives.
- Must be equipped to offer a fresh perspective, demonstrate a passion for leading change, serve in a collaborative manner, and inspire matrixed cross-functional teams.
- Extensive experience recruiting talent and senior executives.
- Ensures responsible AI scaling to maintain ethical standards of inclusivity, risk management, addresses the reduction of bias and privacy.
- Track record of success leading and managing high-performing teams.
- Highly effective verbal and written communicator.
- High EQ and executive maturity; innovative problem-solver.

The starting base pay is $117,200.00 to $157,500.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
