We are seeking a skilled Workday Payroll HRIS Analyst to join our team and support clients with Workday Payroll implementation, configuration, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday Payroll and tax compliance, ensuring seamless payroll processing and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Primary/Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support Workday Payroll implementations, configurations, and optimizations for Graham Holdings Companies.
- Ensure payroll processing aligns with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Assist in payroll system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Configure Workday Payroll modules, including earnings, deductions, payroll processing, banking and tax setup.
- Provide expertise on tax compliance, including tax filings, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting.
- Process Year end tasks related to W-2’s, T-4’s and RL-1’s.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to enhance payroll operations and ensure data integrity.
- Train and support end-users on Workday Payroll functionality.
- Stay updated on payroll legislation and Workday system enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of Workday Payroll implementation or support experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance in the U.S and Canada.
- Experience with Workday Payroll integrations (e.g., OSV, third-party tax services, ACH transmissions).
- Understanding of payroll accounting and reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday Payroll Certification.
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
- Familiarity with payroll year-end processes, W-2 processing, and tax filings.
- Consulting experience with multiple Workday clients.

The salary range for the Payroll HRIS Analyst role is currently between $100,000 and $140,000 , and the amount that is offered is based on the candidate's skills, experience and education, among other factors determined by the business. It is within Kaplan's discretion to adjust this range based on business needs.
