About the opportunity
Reporting to the Vice President, Culture and Talent Success, this newly created role is responsible for creating the strategy and end to end execution of Dayforce’s targeted leadership development offerings. This role will evolve the strategy and deliver the programming for targeted audiences across Dayforce beginning with our executive development offerings, working with internal partners and with vendors for supplemental support when applicable. Over time this role may expand oversight and execution into other areas (e.g., high potential programming) or targeted audiences. This role is a US or Canada-based remote role.
What you'll get to do
- Direct the strategies, implementations, partnerships and operations for senior leadership development programs as first priority, explore future initiatives for high potential talent, to develop and accelerate employee readiness in executive-level roles, identified critical roles, and key successors across the globe to increase leadership capability and ultimately increase organization performance
- Leverage research on the evolving role of leaders in technology and AI-forward environments along with our internal leadership success framework and values to create high value leadership development programming and offerings
- Create and deliver the end-to-end execution plan for translating the strategy into executive-level experiences and programming, using a portfolio approach
- Analyze and interpret individual data and assess group-level capabilities to identify patterns and unique opportunities to impact executive development
- Coach leaders internally and/or match executives with coaches, ensuring progress against KPIs and coaching accountability plans for demonstrated ROI
- Identify, evaluate, and manage external coaching engagements to ensure high-quality delivery, cost effectiveness, and measurable return on investment aligned to business goals
- Incorporate evidence-based validated leadership assessments into the development portfolio, including providing results interpretation one on one or group settings
- Organize, collect, and analyze talent data, succession plans, and talent feedback to identify patterns, inform leadership development strategy and programming and ultimately show leaders’ skills progression and leadership acceleration
- Host and lead education and skills workshops with senior executives, incorporating realistic scenarios and business cases to aid in practical development
- Curate internal and external experts to offer workshops and roundtable sessions aligned with our leadership framework and necessary skills, including vendor selection and management to augment our offerings
- Partner with HR Business partners to learn deeply about the target audience, their impact to functional business strategy and company strategy, and expectations for success
- Partner with Talent and Performance team to leverage executive assessment data to guide program design, follow leader progress, and assess success
- Partner closely with the L&D team to align leadership training on core skills and co-create high-impact content that supports consistent, enterprise-wide leadership capability building
- Partner with the Product team to collaborate on and advise enhancements and functionality of our technology, ensuring solutions effectively support internal and external customer needs
- Collaborate across HR and business functions to ensure strategic alignment and seamless customer experience
Skills and experience we value
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or related work experience preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Organizational Psychology, or Learning & Development
- 15+ years of leadership development or talent management experience and facilitating advanced leadership development programs, both virtually and in-person
- Executive Coaching Certification; formal certifications in leadership development programs and assessments
- Demonstrated superior subject matter expertise in executive education and development, leadership and cohort development training methodologies, adult learning theories, instructional design, training content and delivery
- Experience with evidence-based validated leadership assessments, selecting and evaluating assessments, results interpretation, and providing results delivery one on one or group settings
- Experience collecting and analyzing talent data, succession plans and talent feedback to inform leadership development strategy and programming and ultimately demonstrate skills progression and leadership acceleration
- Ability and experience leading and hosting education and skills workshops with senior executives, incorporating realistic scenarios and business cases to aid in practical development
- Proven ability to assess best practices in the market and apply relevant trends into program design, technologically forward learning solutions, strategic initiatives and resources, and deliver exceptional training in support of our business strategy.
- Previous experience with vendor management from contracting, budgeting to execution oversight and strategic partnerships to supplement internal capacity and scale impact.
- Experience leading and developing team members across multiple regions, enabling them to deliver innovative and technology-forward learning and development solutions
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills (written and verbal); ability to present clear and concise messages to diverse groups at all levels of an organization
- Experience working in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed organization
- Willing to travel and work flexibly as needed, to support customers across global time zones
