Serving as the admissions, recruitment, and funnel management subject matter expert for SU Global, the Director will play a critical role in the university’s future by collaborating with Syracuse University’s schools and colleges to attract a diverse, talented and engaged online student population locally, nationally, and internationally. The position demands exceptional flexibility and adaptability to serve students across time zones, accommodate diverse cultural perspectives and learning needs, and maintain an in-person presence on campus to ensure accessible, responsive support.

We’re looking for team members who thrive in:
  • High-energy, in-person environments where innovation happens face-to-face
  • Flexible scheduling that follows student needs, not the clock
  • Startup intensity within a world-class university structure

We’re not looking for people who want a job. We’re looking for builders who want a mission.

  • Five or more years of progressively responsible administrative experience in higher education or related field required.
  • Experience in higher education in admissions or student services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and technology skills are required.
  • The ability to work with a diverse team effectively and handle multiple projects with strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment and manage others to do the same.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Breadth and depth of experience in enrollment management, strong business judgment and decision-making skills, a strong capability of working with data and analytics, the ability to work and interact in a transparent manner, and the ability to lead and manage are essential to success in this position.
  • Previous admissions operations and management experience or related program or relevant corporate experience in marketing, operations, or a related field.
  • Experience integrating across programs and building organizational structure to deliver an outstanding, student-centric experience
  • An appreciation for online education
  • Experience managing the relationship with external admissions and lead cultivation partners; and proficiency with admissions technology platforms.
