| Essential Duties and Responsibilities | The athletic program at Appalachian State University operates on the premise that intercollegiate athletics is an integral part of the institution’s overall program of education. This position will represent the Senior Director of Athletics Compliance in various capacities. The Director of Athletics Compliance reports directly to the Senior Director of Athletics Compliance and assists in the oversight of compliance of NCAA rules to ensure the eligibility of players and educates coaches and staff to prevent violations. Commitment to and compliance with the University’s and Department of Athletics policies and procedures as well as the conference and NCAA constitutions, bylaws, legislation and regulations.
