Job Summary
The Director is responsible for managing the administrative processes related to accreditation, rankings, and Assurance of Learning (AOL). This includes staying current with AACSB accreditation standards and best practices, overseeing data and documentation for rankings agencies, and developing effective assessment plans for all accredited programs.
The Director serves as the school’s primary resource for analytical support, providing data-driven insights to the Dean, the Dean’s Office leadership, department heads, and senior staff. This includes developing resource models and conducting analyses that inform strategy, guide decision making, support rankings performance, and enhance the operational effectiveness of the school’s academic and administrative units. Given the highly collaborative nature of these responsibilities, the role requires consistent on-site presence to support real-time coordination, secure data access, and timely academic operations.
The Director also contributes as a campus data leader by participating in university-wide standards committees and advising on the impact of major system or policy changes affecting the college.

What We’re Looking For:
Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a closely related quantitative or computational field
- Eight years of professional experience in reporting, assessment, data extraction, and data analysis within a complex organization
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise reporting tools, including report writing, filtering, joining data sources, applying business rules, and validating data for accuracy and consistency
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, develop projections or forecasting models, and communicate analytical findings clearly to diverse audiences
Skills Needed:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision, delivering high-quality results on time and maintaining accuracy under competing priorities
- Demonstrated capability to achieve objectives in ambiguous or complex situations, including projects involving cross-functional teams, interconnected issues, and evolving requirements
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for academic and administrative leaders
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization – both within the business school and across central data and administrative offices
- Ability to provide guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback to student employees and analytics colleagues, fostering professional growth and high-quality analytical output
- Commitment to confidentiality and responsible handling of sensitive or restricted data, including student, faculty, and financial information
- Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard development using tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong understanding of relational databases and enterprise reporting tools, with experience using Cognos or SQL for querying, joining data sources, and validating results
What is helpful:
- Master Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a closely related quantitative or computational field
- Experience working with student, academic, and financial data in a university setting
- Experience collaborating across multiple units or departments and managing competing priorities
- Ability to use statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, Minitab)
- Familiarity with academic analytics contexts, such as course-embedded assessment, financial modeling, faculty activity tracking, and external/regulatory reporting
