Director of Education Full Description

We are looking for a Director of School to lead and scale educational programs within a growing skilled trades training environment focused on electrical education. This role is responsible for overseeing curriculum delivery, instructor performance, and overall student outcomes across both in-person and online learning formats. The position plays a key role in ensuring programs align with licensing requirements while maintaining a strong, student-focused culture. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader to drive growth, quality, and operational excellence within a workforce-focused education model.

Responsibilities
  •  Oversee daily school operations including instructors, administrative staff, and program delivery 
  •  Lead, mentor, and develop instructional and support teams to maintain high performance 
  •  Ensure curriculum aligns with state licensing requirements and industry standards 
  •  Maintain consistency and quality across in-person, livestream, and self-paced training programs 
  •  Monitor student progress, completion rates, and overall satisfaction metrics 
  •  Resolve escalated student issues and support a positive learning environment 
  •  Ensure compliance with state education regulations, licensing requirements, and audit processes 
  •  Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and record-keeping systems 
  •  Collaborate with leadership to expand programs, markets, and course offerings 
  •  Support enrollment growth initiatives, marketing efforts, and industry partnerships 

Requirements
  •  Master Electrician license (or ability to obtain in applicable state) 
  •  5+ years of experience in the electrical industry 
  •  Proven leadership or management experience in a team environment 
  •  Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical licensing pathways 
  •  Experience managing or developing training programs or teams 
  •  Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills 
  •  Experience in education, workforce development, or trade school environments preferred 
  •  Familiarity with online learning platforms or hybrid education models preferred
