Overview:
The Director of Finance and Operations (Director) at Touro College of Dental Medicine (TCDM) New York will oversee compliance with financial procedures of the educational and clinical programs, budget oversite, material and inventory management, project timelines, operations, and business developments. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of optimizing growth and revenue strategies, developing actionable plans aligned with institutional objectives, and fostering a highly collaborative culture.
The position is co-located on the campus of New York Medical College. Responsibilities also include financial and operational oversight of the TCDM school and clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Director will report directly to the Dean and dual report on a dotted-line basis with the Touro University Senior VP Operations and Chief Financial Officer to ensure the efficient functioning of TCDM. - Financial Procedures and Organizational Policies:
- Implement financial procedures and organizational policies aligned with institutional goals.
- Operational Oversight
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with institutional goals.
- Implement improved processes and new technologies in collaboration with the Dean and Senior Leadership.
- Budget Development and Oversight:
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial stability.
- Monitor and analyze clinical and other revenue streams, offering recommendations for optimization.
- Strategic Planning
- Develop actionable strategies and plans aligned with the short- and long-term objectives of TCDM.
- Collaborate with the Dean and Senior Leadership on strategic decision-making.
- Employee Management:
- Strategically manage, organize, and coordinate the hiring of employees.
- Foster a highly inclusive culture and motivate employees to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Education, Preparation, and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field required
- Masters of Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- 5 or more years of proven leadership experience in operations and strategic planning roles, preferably in a healthcare setting, academic, or non-profit required.
- Familiarity with healthcare education and industry practices preferred.

Maximum Salary: USD $160,000.00/Yr. Minimum Salary: USD $128,000.00/Yr.
