About the Opportunity
Our Success Services team at Ellucian is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Analyst to lead the analysis, design, and modernization of enterprise solutions for higher education institutions. This role serves as a trusted strategic advisor, ensuring that institutions align their technology, business processes, and transformation strategies with scalable, future-ready solutions that drive long-term success.

The Enterprise Solutions Analyst will assess an organization’s enterprise landscape, facilitate strategic discussions, and develop tailored modernization roadmaps. In addition to helping institutions align internal processes and integrate new technologies, this role will assist in developing structured methodologies and service frameworks that will be used across engagements. These methodologies will ensure a consistent, scalable, and repeatable approach to modernization that supports institutional transformation efforts.
Reporting directly to the Manager of the Practice, this role will contribute to the evolution of modernization services, ensuring institutions have the structure and guidance needed to navigate enterprise transformation effectively. By shaping the structure and methodologies of modernization services, this role will play a key part in elevating how institutions approach enterprise transformation.

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor by analyzing business objectives, defining long-term transformation roadmaps, and ensuring institutional goals are aligned with scalable, future- ready solutions.
  • Design and articulate comprehensive enterprise-wide architecture strategies, encompassing business, technical, and functional solutions from concept to execution. Provide industry-leading insights to ensure solutions drive institutional effectiveness and transformation.
  • Identify and standardize solutions within the Ellucian ecosystem, ensuring alignment with best practices and the product roadmap.
  • Lead cross-functional implementations, focusing on areas like Student Information Systems (SIS), Finance, HR, and ensuring solutions are maximized for customer success.
  • Lead executive advisory sessions, strategic service solutions workshops, and enterprise process mapping initiatives to elevate customer experience and adoption of best practices.
  • Design and articulate enterprise-wide architecture strategies, encompassing business, technical, and functional solutions from concept to execution.
  • Evaluate existing and emerging technologies, recommending scalable and innovative solutions that optimize institutional success.
  • Develop structured methodologies, best-practice frameworks, and transformation roadmaps, ensuring institutions are strategically, operationally, and technically ready for modernization.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimization strategies to improve solution effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Partner with Strategic Engagement Managers and Change Management Consultants to develop governance models and modernization strategies, ensuring institutions are strategically, operationally, and technically ready for transformation.
  • Connect with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify problem areas and propose strategic IT solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Ensure comprehensive IT documentation by leveraging architecture modeling tools to capture system designs, architecture decisions, solution frameworks, and best practices, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
  • Act as an advisor in solution design, applying expertise in architectural theories, practices, and design methodologies.

What you will bring
  • Preferred 5+ years of experience architecting and delivering enterprise solutions in higher education, with demonstrated expertise across Student Information Systems (SIS), Finance, HR, and cross-functional enterprise technology ecosystems.
  • Preferred experience with large-scale ERP platforms, cloud-based architectures, integration frameworks, and enterprise data strategies.
  • Preferred comprehensive understanding of ERP solutions, SaaS transformation, and best practices for ERP deployment and optimization.
  • Familiarity with architecture modeling tools and frameworks.
  • Preferred experience leading global solution deployments and working with higher education institutions across various regions. Applies expertise in regulatory, compliance, and cultural nuances to optimize global solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities, outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a strong capacity to engage executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams—emphasizing collaboration, clarity, and follow-through.
