Highlights

Provide technical assistance to businesses, governments, and anchor institutions to promote economic development in distressed communities.
Develop financial models, business plans, marketing plans, SOPs, and HR policies for small- and medium-sized enterprises and government projects.
Support initiatives like connecting small farmers to institutional buyers, forestry and farm management plans, and manufacturing process improvements.
Conduct economic impact analysis using IMPLAN and asset-based economic development planning.
Manage data cleaning, merging, and de-duplication of business directories.
Work with diverse clients including local governments, manufacturers, small farmers' collectives, and military bases.
Prefer candidates enrolled in graduate or PhD programs in Business Administration, Planning, Public Administration, Agriculture, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Strong preference for experience in areas such as economics, agribusiness, marketing, finance, engineering, statistics, planning, and public policy.
Part-time temporary position requiring approximately 10 hours per week with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour.
Appointment duration is 6 months with a maximum of 11 months; work may involve some travel.
