Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer and Controller Full Description

Join our team as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Finance Officer and Controller, where you'll help keep things running smoothly across the finance office.

In this role, you'll manage schedules, handle communications, support purchasing and travel, and keep track of important projects and deadlines. You will also support process improvement projects, analyze financial systems, and develop training and process documentation. You'll work closely with university leadership and be the go-to person for many day to day operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor degree in business, or relevant field. Proficient in MS Word, Excel. 
Basic knowledge in accounting and general business process.

This position is in-person and will be located at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Applicants who are not currently living in Alaska, must be willing to relocate for consideration.

Position Details:
This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 80, based on education and experience.
