Go-To-Market (GTM) Engineer Job Description
Marketing - Columbia, Maryland (Hybrid)
Go-To-Market (GTM) Engineer
IronCircle is seeking a highly technical and strategic GTM Engineer to be the owner of our revenue engine. This is a high-impact, hybrid role combining revenue operations, growth engineering, and AI-powered automation. You will architect and build the systems, data flows, and intelligent workflows that enable Marketing, Sales, and Learner Success to operate as one unified engine.
This is not a traditional “RevOps administrator” role. This is the technical owner of the revenue engine, the person who:
- Turns manual GTM workflows into automated, scalable systems.
- Embraces and evangelizes AI-driven execution.
- Fixes conversion bottlenecks using data, automation, and experimentation.
- Owns the infrastructure that moves prospects through the entire funnel, from lead → learner → revenue → renewal.
You will diagnose where the funnel breaks, design the automation to fix it, deploy AI agents where humans slow down the process, and build full-funnel visibility that drives real decisions, not opinions.

- Own the end-to-end GTM tech stack across CRM, Marketing Automation, CDP, and data warehousing.
- Design and maintain data flows that unify Product usage signals, Sales pipeline, and Marketing intent data.
- Automate lifecycle workflows (inbound → qualification → activation → enrollment → renewal).
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to identify funnel drop-offs and friction points.
- Deploy lifecycle automation and product-triggered journeys that increase trial → activation → enrollment.
- Enable PLG motions through activation scoring, onboarding workflows, and usage-based messaging.
- Increase conversion efficiency through A/B tests across landing pages, email, in-app, and paid traffic.
- Collaborate directly with sales teams to understand pain points and design solutions that actually help close deals.
- Partner with Product to ensure learner usage data feeds GTM personalization.
- Document systems and share learnings to scale GTM engineering across the organization.
