Position Description 
Advertised Job Summary  | The IT Resource Consultant ’s tasks will include, but not be limited to: Monitoring and providing system maintenance for various hardware and software objects utilized in the CBORD system. Conducting post-installation studies and evaluations. Supporting the Columbia and all System Campuses, that use the CBORD system. Daily system administration, new hardware installation and testing, trouble shooting, problem resolution, system research, system upgrade planning, project planning and vendor communication.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials   
Preferred Qualifications  | Five (5) years of experience in computer system development and modification.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  | Proven problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of multiple device network systems, third party purchased systems and relational databases (Oracle) and SQL language. Knowledge of servers and networks. Ability to respond to frequent demands of multiple clients. Ability to analyze data and provide solutions to complex problems. Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal communications. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, team members and customers.
