Job Title: Information Architect 
Location: Stevens Point, WI - Corporate Office  
*May include remote opportunities in the following states: AZ, FL, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI. No relocation assistance is provided.  

Starting Salary: $61,055.80 - $67,161.38 (Salary commensurate with experience) 
Are you passionate about creating intuitive, user-centered content experiences? Skyward is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative

Information Architect to lead the strategy, structure, and delivery of our training and support content. In this role, you’ll shape how users interact with our Help Center, Professional Development Center, and Skyward Community platforms—ensuring clarity, consistency, and usability across all touchpoints.

What you’ll do:
  • Design and maintain content architecture using DITA and XML.
  • Develop and manage publishing scenarios and content strategies based on user behavior and feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with user needs and business goals.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot content structures, publishing errors, and user experience issues.
  • Provide training and support to team members on structured authoring and content tools.
  • Continuously refine content delivery methods using usability testing and CRM insights.

What you need:
  • A two- or four-year degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of DITA, XML, content modeling, and structured authoring.
  • Familiarity with tools like cCMS, Dreamweaver, Notepad++, and Office 365.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for improving user experiences.
