Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)
Contract Length: 6 months (possible extension)
Compensation: $69/$77 per hour (based on experience)
Summary of the Role
Join a cross-functional instructional design team to develop engaging, interactive learning materials for a complex project at a big biopharma leader. You will collaborate virtually with subject matter experts to design content that supports staff knowledge, compliance, and inspection readiness. This role centers on producing high-impact training within a regulated environment, using leading authoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate virtually with subject matter experts to create instructional content for Quality Management System (QMS) online courses
- Design and revise storyboards, simulations, and multimedia assets that enhance online learning
- Align instructional materials with defined learning objectives and best practices
- Coordinate project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of course materials
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders, including project managers, to meet training goals
- Work as part of a team of instructional designers in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 7 years of instructional design experience focused on interactive content
- Proficiency with Articulate Rise & Storyline, Captivate, and Adobe Illustrator
- Strong communication and project management skills managing multiple projects in a cross-functional team
- Demonstrated experience developing compelling training content
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, or a related field
- Experience designing training in biotech, pharmaceutical, GxP, or other highly regulated industries

2. Mastery of Articulate Rise & Storyline, Captivate, and Adobe Illustrator

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- You will work independently while collaborating with subject matter experts and training content experts to deliver high-quality instructional materials on schedule. Daily duties include designing and updating course content, participating in meetings, and ensuring learning experiences are engaging and compliant via corporate Learning Management Systems.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, or related field preferred
