We are seeking an Instructional Designer II - Remote who will design, manage, and construct innovative learning experiences that implement best-in-class adult learning strategies through virtual, instructor-led, and blended solutions. Empower participants to achieve measurable results through training that inspires alignment with the Hanger purpose, vision, and values, educates with practical, real world activities, and prepares with intuitive, easy to follow job aids. Your Impact: 

  • Collaborate with business partners to identify business goals, objectives, and timelines.
  • Conduct research to understand learner needs, their knowledge and/or performance gaps, and to identify their learning, support, and accountability environment.
  • Envision, communicate, and obtain buy-in on comprehensive learning strategies that meet business goals and enable learner growth.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to construct accurate and timely content.
  • Proactively communicate with the training and development team to ensure alignment and to develop best practices and standards. 
  • Construct learning paths for effective delivery of content.
  • Build and drive learning assessments, including surveys and focus groups.  
  • Review and iterate learning experiences based on feedback and results to improve performance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with team members and support team development. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience

  • Knowledge and experience with latest evidence-based training methods
  • Experience applying instructional design theories, practices, and methods (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of learning technologies, including eLearning modules and learning management systems.

Pay range of $65,000 to $80,000 annual salary + annual bonus: up to 5% of base pay depending on bonus criteria.  This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws.  Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.  Our Investment in You:
