We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and results-oriented Corporate Learning & Development (L&D) Leader to lead our training department. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining and executing the enterprise-wide learning strategy, ensuring our employees have the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to drive business success and support a culture of continuous growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building, implementing, and managing innovative, scalable, and measurable L&D programs across a diverse organization. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and champion the overall L&D strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals, core values, and future talent needs. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to executive leadership and departmental heads to proactively identify critical skill gaps and performance needs across the organization. 
  • Develop a comprehensive roadmap for all training initiatives, including leadership development, new hire onboarding, compliance training, technical upskilling, and professional development. 
  • Manage and allocate the annual L&D budget effectively, ensuring maximum return on investment. 
  • Lead the design, development, and curation of engaging, multi-modal learning content (e.g., in-person workshops, virtual instructor-led training, e-learning modules, blended learning, and performance support tools). 
  • Oversee the effective implementation and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning technologies. 
  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality control standards for all learning materials and instructional delivery. 
  • Drive the adoption of modern learning methodologies, including gamification, microlearning, and social learning. 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of L&D professionals, including instructional designers, trainers, and learning technologists. 
  • Manage and negotiate relationships with external training vendors and subject matter experts (SMEs) to supplement internal capabilities. 
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and professional growth within the L&D team. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 
  • 8+ years of experience in a dedicated Learning & Development, Corporate Training, or Organizational Effectiveness role. 
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing a team of L&D professionals, including budget management and strategic planning. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, change management, and the full training life cycle. 
  • Proven ability to work effectively and build consensus with senior executives and stakeholders across various departments. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. 
  • Experience in a rapidly scaling or complex, multi-site corporate environment. 
  • Certifications such as CPLP, ATD, or relevant professional HR/OD certifications. 
  • Deep knowledge of modern learning technologies, including experience administering and leveraging an enterprise-level LMS.

  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages).
