Manager, Instructional Media & Web Services Full Description

Position Summary: The Manager, Instructional Media & Web Services oversees the daily delivery, implementation, and support of the University’s instructional media and web publishing tools which are provided and maintained by third party vendors. This role ensures that video and media services and academic web platforms are reliable, accessible, and effectively integrated into University teaching, learning, and research workflows. The manager bridges the gap between technical infrastructure and frontline academic support and serves as the primary liaison between NYU IT and the third party vendors.

Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields around education and/or media production and at least 5 years of related professional work experience.

Required Experience:
5+ years experience in managing, designing, developing and delivering various kinds of effective educational technology and media services within budget and on schedule. Experience working with vendors to deliver a technology service within NYU IT infrastructure. Experience creating and managing workflow processes for educational technology and media projects. Experience working on a variety of projects simultaneously. Proven experience in implementing and managing ITIL-based processes and frameworks. Experience with the application of ITIL lifecycle best practices to change, incident, and problem management process development and service design.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated effectiveness in managing, designing, developing, and delivering educational media and technology services.
Additional Information: In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $105,000.00 to USD $125,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
