The Manager of Technology Training works closely and collaboratively with business sponsors to develop ideas that are translated into engaging learning solutions. 

Responsibilities
  • Work in close partnership with the business owners to design, develop, and implement learning solutions. Understand the needs presented and design learning solutions to meet those needs 
  • Oversee the design of blended learning programs to enhance the retention, transfer, and application of knowledge and skills to specific roles, performance, and outcomes 
  • Continuously monitor and solicit feedback on all training programs and materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness while driving enhancement and improved adoption 
  • Keep current with adult training and learning industry trends, best practices, new technologies, and emerging innovations to see how they can be leveraged at Proskauer
  • Set the strategic priorities for learning & development from onboarding through continuous learning
  • Manage a team of Learning & Development professionals 
  • Oversee the management of the Firm’s Learning Management System, which includes defining courses and learning paths, managing content for both course and quick reference, and developing and generating reports
  • Develop and maintain reports for senior leadership on the status and success of training programs
  • Lead the charge in developing new strategies and continued improvements to Proskauer’s training programs to ensure we are delivering a world-class learning curriculum and experience
  • Develop learning plans that provide interactive online content to allow flexibility, to allow personnel to learn anytime, anywhere
  • Define standards for the development of digital learning content to ensure consistency
  • Oversee the development and distribution of technology communications, such as the announcements of new technology solutions and technology tips
  • Facilitate training sessions and develop learning content as needed
  • Manage relationships with the Firm’s training content vendors

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree; preferably with a background in adult learning or education
  • The suitable candidate must demonstrate 8+ years related experience in training with a focus on blended learning, preferably in a service-based organization
  • Experience managing multiple competing priorities and projects
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and proven ability to shift prioritization when needed
  • Proven track record of successful learning delivery
  • Excellent communication, leadership, learning, and presentation skills
  • Advanced oral and written skills are a must
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt to and champion change
  • Must have solid experience interacting and communicating effectively across all levels of an organization
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, change management, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Significant experience in content creation and curation of training materials
  • Experience in developing learning solutions using tools such as: Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Articulate Replay, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Vynod, Snag-It, and Audacity (or other audio-editor tools)
  • Experience creating content for and publishing within a Learning Management System

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm). The anticipated compensation range for this position is $140,000-$165,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
