| Job Summary | The Center for Campus Wellness (CCW) is a comprehensive wellness office that provides wellness education, trainings and workshops; victim-survivor advocacy services and support; safer sex services for students; alcohol and other drug support services; wellness coaching; resource navigation; basic needs support, and student involvement opportunities.
CCW seeks a Manager for Health Education Programs who will provide mid‑level leadership and operational oversight for the CCW’s prevention education and health promotion services and programs. This position supervises professional staff, manages daily program operations, ensures fidelity to best practices, and supports the delivery of evidence‑informed prevention education across multiple topic areas including, but not limited to, harm reduction, mental health, violence prevention, STI/HIV testing, and substance use education. The Manager contributes to strategic planning, cross‑campus coordination, and program evaluation with the leadership team. This position will have primary responsibility for:
This position will report directly to the CCW Associate Director of Prevention Education. The selected candidate will need to stay current with national and emerging best practices in behavior‑change strategies, health‑promoting campus environments, prevention science, and public health approaches relevant to college student wellbeing. This includes monitoring trends, adapting programming based on new research or guidance, and ensuring that services align with professional standards in the field. The role requires a commitment to continuous learning and applying evidence‑informed methods to strengthen the effectiveness and relevance of our programs. Applicants should be committed to working with a diverse campus community whose experiences, backgrounds and perspectives may be different from their own. As a larger CCW team, we prioritize our team’s well-being and actively support each other in professional development efforts, engaging in self-care practices, and creating a positive and supportive team atmosphere that fosters growth, equity, inclusivity, and diversity. We operate with a hybrid work schedule which includes the possibility of 1-2 days for remote work pending job duties and approval from the direct supervisor. At various times of the year, remote working days may not be approved if on-campus priorities and programs require in-person attendance.
