McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational solutions, is looking for a Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the development and promotion of new and existing products, including competitive analysis and the development of sales tools and other collateral. This individual will also lead the marketing efforts for our Specialized Programs group, driving interest and engagement in markets like Anthropology, Education, Criminal Justice, and Philosophy. The position works closely with marketing managers and across other teams to maintain a robust and up-to-date collection of assets and information and to drive sales of new and existing products.
 
This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What you will be doing: 
  • Partner with marketing, portfolio, and platform teams to create and update sales tools, product information, and marketing collateral in internal systems.
  • Support marketing managers and the VP of Product Marketing in executing marketing tactics and cross-business initiatives, including event coordination (e.g., webinars, conferences, internal summits), promotional materials, and surveys.
  • Depending on candidate, potential to also own and execute marketing activities for specialized portfolios, including campaign ownership and direct engagement with sales team.
  • Coordinate contract management and vendor/freelancer onboarding in collaboration with finance, procurement, and legal teams; ensure timely processing and compliance.
  • Track and manage budgets for assigned projects and contracts, providing regular updates and financial oversight to stakeholders.
  • Monitor the flow of information across departments (sales, portfolio, marketing, finance, etc.), ensuring alignment, transparency, and efficient communication.
  • Research competitors and market trends; create competitive analyses and provide actionable insights and recommendations to marketing managers.
  • Support office operations including invoice submissions, supply orders, contract creation, project file maintenance, and database accuracy.
 
What you need to be considered:   
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate information and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proven organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • A self-starter mindset—someone who is proactive, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Experience using tools such as Salesforce, Asana, Qualtrics, Zoom, and Oracle for collaboration, marketing execution, and workflow tracking.
  • A strong interest in growing within McGraw Hill, especially in marketing or sales-related career paths.

The pay range for this position is between $49,000 - $54,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.  This position includes an annual incentive plan based on company performance.  Additionally, a full range of medical and/or other benefits may be provided, depending on the position offered.
