Overview
The On Site Administrator serves as both the lead instructional presence and the designated point of contact for the school site. This role combines the responsibilities of a lead teacher with site-level administrative duties, including staff support, compliance oversight, and emergency preparedness.

How You’ll Be There for Students and Staff
Instructional Leadership 
  • Serve as the lead teacher on site, modeling best instructional practices and fostering a strong classroom culture. 
  • Support instructors by providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure program quality. 
  • Customize targeted lesson plans using provided resources and ensure alignment to student needs. 
  • Monitor instructional pacing, differentiation, and student engagement to maximize outcomes. 
  • Act as a substitute teacher if needed. 

Site Administration & Communication 
  • Act as the primary liaison between Catapult Learning, school administrators, and families. 
  • Maintain accurate student and staff attendance records, program forms, and parent communication logs. 
  • Organize and manage site resources, materials, and supplies; communicate needs to the Area Manager. 
  • Ensure compliance with dismissal, pick-up, and school-site procedures. 
  • Communicate regularly with the Area Manager/Supervisor regarding site operations, challenges, and successes. 

Safety & Emergency Response 
  • Serve as the designated site leader trained in emergency response procedures. 
  • Maintain and post evacuation routes, safety plans, and emergency protocols. 
  • Respond to incidents, communicate with school staff and families, and ensure safety compliance. 
    Arrange substitutes and manage staff coverage as needed to maintain program continuity. 

Data & Documentation 
  • Track student academic data, attendance, and progress to inform instruction. 
  • Enter student data into our systems on schedule. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of parent communication, student records, and program compliance. 

Responsibilities

What We’ll Need From You 
  • Valid teaching license in MA with administrator endorsement/qualifications strongly preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree or administrative certification a plus. 
  • Experience in academic/school settings with proven ability to lead instruction and support colleagues. 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and management skills. 
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to use online systems for data and communication. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, professional relationships with students, parents, teachers, and administrators. 
  • Commitment to the belief that all children can learn.
