Job Summary
MUST BE A FULL-TIME UK Student IN GOOD STANDING. As a Marketing Specialist, you will assist the POWER team with developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that promote unit programs and events. This includes collaborating with Student Wellness Coordinators to enhance program visibility, creating visually appealing promotional materials such as advertisements, signage, event flyers, and artwork for T-shirts and other promotional items. You will help POWER maintain a strong digital presence by managing engaging content on social media platforms and ensuring the unit website is well-organized and adheres to university brand guidelines. You will also support special event planning and execution, including concept brainstorming, logistical planning, budget management, vendor coordination, and overseeing events from start to finish. The role also involves designing and producing various marketing collateral, such as fact cards, digital signage, bulletin boards, and presentations. The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in ensuring consistent branding, effective marketing strategies, and successful promotional efforts, contributing to the overall visibility and impact of the unit.
This position is also Federal Work-Study eligible, if you qualify
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), and Microsoft Office is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for design are critical to success.
