About Us: The Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition has two programs recognized and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) – Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD)and Accelerated Coordinated Program in Dietetics (ACP Dietetics). The ACP Dietetics program is a streamlined program for student to earn a BS in Dietetics, MS in Nutrition and Food Systems, and complete the Supervised Practice Program (SPP). As the Dietetics SPP Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of this program, playing a vital role in shaping the future of nutrition and dietetics, facilitating students along their path to becoming credentialed practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide mentoring, guidance, and regular communications to support student success during the ACP Dietetics SPP. Recruit and organize training and engagement opportunities for preceptors. Manage SPP student placements, records and program activities. Provide creative support such as career and professional development, enrichment programs, and scholarship promotion. Explore opportunities for collaborations and/or offering a fully online SPP through the department.
