Posting Context Statement  
The Program Manager oversees administrative, supervisory and programmatic aspects of a program for students who identify as neurodiverse, and identify on autism spectrum. They provide vision, leadership, oversee executive and academic coaching, social engagement, peer mentoring, skill-building and individualized student supports, supervise staff, mentors, interns and volunteers train to meet the educational and social needs of students. They design and evaluate program curriculum, including INTR 101: Focus on Success, manage outreach, consultation, donor relations, serve as a campus resource and lead collaboration with stakeholders across the institution and broader community.

Position Overview 
This position supports the planning and completion of educational, outreach or professional programs; working with program staff, students, the public and/or agencies, to plan and oversee program activities. May lead a distinct area for the program such as outreach, assessment or financial management.

Duties may include: Participate in the development and implementation of program deliverables, services and activities Coordinate a team with a variety array of talents and responsibilities Collect, compile and summarize program data for reports Participate in developing program operating goals, objectives and protocols Maintain program budgets, monitoring and reviewing transactions for compliance with program requirements Active participation in the development and submission of program proposals Lead collection and compilation of program assessment data­ May supervise the work of others or lead a team to accomplish assigned goals Other duties as assigned

 Position Qualifications 
Required Experience  | Two years of program coordination or program management experience Working in a team environment to accomplish shared goals Collecting, compiling, summarizing and analyzing data for administrative reports

Required Education  | Bachelor’s Degree; four additional years of experience in program coordination (for a total of six years) may substitute for a Bachelor’s Degree

Required Other  | Willingness to travel and occasionally work evenings or weekends for events Eligibility for membership in student support organizations such as College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA), National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), Association of Highter Education and Disability (AHEAD), College Autism Network (CAN), and Idaho Partnership on Highter Education and Disability (IPHED)

Additional Preferred  | Bachelor’s degree in counseling, education, social work, psychology, sociology, political science, human services, adult/organizational leadership and learning, human development and family studies, communication, health sciences, or family and consumer sciences Knowledge of disability law and higher education policy Experience writing or evaluating policy and procedures Experience teaching students with executive functioning or social communication challenges Excellent communication, mediation, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated experience working with neurodiverse individuals, particularly those on the autism spectrum Experience developing curriculum and teaching, particularly in higher education Proficiency in advising, coaching, or mentoring student populations
