Who we’re looking for:
We’re so proud to launch Attendance Plus! By doing so, we are taking on the nationwide challenge of chronic absenteeism; this new product is designed to provide schools with the tools and insights they need to move beyond simple attendance tracking. Attendance Plus will help educators identify at-risk students early, understand the root causes of absences, and implement effective, data-driven interventions. To help us grow the impact and potential of Attendance Plus, we’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager with a deep understanding of the K-12 education landscape and a genuine passion for solving the complex problem of chronic absenteeism to join our team. You are a relationship-builder at heart, skilled at communicating the value of a solution that addresses a critical need for schools and districts. As a key member of your assigned Regional ‘Pod’, you will leverage your expertise and contacts within the region to build a strong pipeline and drive the adoption of Attendance Plus. Your entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to exceeding your goals will be instrumental as you pioneer the growth of this new product. Most importantly, you share our conviction that by improving attendance, we can significantly improve the lives and academic trajectories of students.
This role will include:
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of the factors contributing to chronic absenteeism and how Attendance Plus can provide effective solutions.
- Mastering the features, benefits, and differentiators of the Attendance Plus product to deliver compelling and informative presentations to prospective clients.
- Traveling to school districts for in-person meetings and representing ParentSquare at educational conferences as needed to build relationships and generate new leads.
- Employing a consultative sales approach to understand the unique attendance challenges of each school and district and customizing solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Meticulously tracking your sales pipeline and activities using CRM Hubspot.
- Crafting and executing a strategic territory plan to achieve and surpass revenue targets.
- Guiding prospects through the entire sales process, from initial contact and engaging demonstrations to contract closure.
- Collaborating with the Customer Success team to ensure a smooth transition for new clients, providing detailed notes and insights from the sales process.
- Serving as a brand champion for ParentSquare and Attendance Plus, consistently articulating our value proposition and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience working in the K-12 Education industry with deep experience in Chronic Absenteeism
- A demonstrated history of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Proven success in solution-based sales with persuasive closing abilities.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Experience with Hubspot is a plus.
- Strong technical aptitude, with proficiency in GSuite and the ability to quickly learn new platforms.
- A willingness and enthusiasm for extensive travel.
