Department SummaryThe Department of Clinical Education within the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine coordinates all clinical education experiences for osteopathic medicine students.
Position OverviewThe Senior Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative, budget, and analytical support to the Assistant Dean and Executive Director of Osteopathic Clinical Education. The selected candidate coordinates administrative functions on behalf of the leadership team while maintaining confidentiality, business acumen and adherence to university policies and procedures. Additionally, this position will support various core administrative support areas within the Office of Osteopathic Clinical Education. Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Duties:Responsible for financial operations of the department including: the planning, tracking and reconciliation of financial transactions, helping create an annual M&O budget, purchasing, salary administration.Process all hiring for the office.Process travel requests and submit travel reimbursements for office employees and associated internal and external partnersServe as the office timekeeperServe as an office contract liaisonFacilitate office meetings by scheduling, creating agendas, ordering catering and recording minutes.Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, housekeeping, maintaining records and managing database systems.Prepare reports, memos, letters, meeting presentations.
