Core Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive benefits and compensation programs that effectively attract, retain, and empower employees across the US, Canada, and Brazil. Focus on executing robust benefits administration tasks while ensuring financial sustainability and strategic alignment.
- Lead and administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Act as the main point of contact for our external vendors and partners, such as Aetna, WTW, Fidelity, and Delta Dental, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
- Conduct extensive market research and benchmarking to uphold competitive compensation and benefits packages. Work closely with the Global Rewards team to build inclusive benefits that strengthen our standing as a top employer.
- Ensure compliance with regulations like ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA for employee pay and benefits.
- Lead the annual Benefits Open Enrollment process and spearhead ongoing communication efforts to enhance employee engagement and understanding of available benefits.
- Collaborate with our Business Service Operations (BSO) organization to provide consistent and high-quality experience for employees when interacting with our benefits and policies, fostering a supportive and informed workplace culture.

We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Senior Benefits Manager to spearhead our benefits and compensation strategies. This pivotal role is essential in ensuring our compensation programs are not only competitive and equitable but also aligned with our overarching organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of benefits administration, compensation structures, and compliance regulations, complemented by strong analytical and communication skills.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with People, Places, and Culture (PPC) peers and engage with employees at all levels throughout the organization. By combining both strategy and benefits administration execution, you will play a meaningful role in enhancing the overall experience for nearly 5,000 LEGO Group colleagues across the United States, Canada, and Brazil. Your contributions will help foster a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.
Do you have what it takes?
- Having more than 7 years of extensive experience in benefits and remuneration, demonstrating proficiency in designing, implementing, and executing on end-to-end strategies, particularly in organizations with a distributed workforce.
- Proficient in Workday, with an experienced background in implementing and optimizing its functionalities.
- Exceptional analytical abilities, specializing in benefits benchmarking and compensation analysis, with sophisticated proficiency in Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of US laws and regulations governing benefits and retirement plans, with additional familiarity with Canadian and/or Brazilian benefits considered an asset.
- Outstanding communication and social skills, adept at influencing and cultivating relationships across all organizational levels.
- Project management capabilities, skilled in effectively handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Thorough attention to detail and a focus on achieving strong outcomes.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with a history of fostering a positive and productive team working environment.
Hybrid working model
This position will be based at 1001 Boylston St. in Boston, MA. Our workplace enables our LEGO® colleagues to be and do their best at work. Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $124,706.00 - $187,060.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
