The Senior Director of Product Management, Courseware leads the strategy and execution for Imagine Learning’s flagship courseware platform, shaping the future of digital learning for millions of students and educators. This role oversees a team of experienced Product Managers focused on platform and experience, driving innovation, scalability, and customer satisfaction across our solutions. The Senior Director will balance near-term execution with long-term strategy - strengthening our market leadership, ensuring seamless learner and educator experiences, and defining what exceptional digital learning looks like - positioning our courseware portfolio for sustained growth and continued leadership.

Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Product and Platform.
Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $137,270.00 and $185,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.
Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 25% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Define and communicate a clear multi-year roadmap for Imagine Learning’s courseware ecosystem that connects strategy to execution and supports multiple product experiences.
- Shape portfolio and product-line strategy to ensure the courseware business meets evolving customer needs and maintains a competitive edge.
- Partner with Engineering and Design to accelerate product delivery, improve development velocity, and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Establish data-driven practices for evaluating opportunities, prioritizing work, and tracking successful metrics from discovery through post-launch.
- Champion a deep understanding of user needs by systematizing voice-of-customer programs, feedback loops, and design thinking practices.
- Translate strategic goals into clear priorities and outcomes that align cross-functional teams on the most impactful work.
- Ensure go-to-market readiness by collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to support strong launches and adoption.
- Mentor and develop product managers to strengthen core product skills, strategic thinking, and autonomy in decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across Product, Technology, and Commercial teams to anticipate future needs and align on shared goals.
- Promote energy, clarity, and enthusiasm for the courseware vision across Imagine Learning, rallying teams around delivering exceptional learning experiences.

Share Your Expertise.
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and at least 10 years of experience leading software products or platforms; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated success leading edtech products or platforms that integrate with K–12 ecosystems, including student information systems (SIS), learning management systems (LMS), and rostering tools.
- Proven ability to define and execute product strategies that balance business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.
- Strong record of driving data-informed decision-making and connecting product outcomes to measurable business impact.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align executives, cross-functional partners, and technical teams around a shared vision.
- Experienced in leading and developing product management teams, fostering growth, accountability, and high performance.
- Skilled at operating at both strategic and operational levels—able to translate long-term vision into actionable roadmaps and outcomes.
- Collaborative leadership style that builds trust, drives alignment, and inspires enthusiasm across teams.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented, with excellent presentation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, including overnight travel, as business needs require.
