Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Director of Pricing to lead the development and execution of our pricing strategy. In this role, you will partner closely with bids and proposals, finance, and project teams to drive a comprehensive pricing framework that maximizes revenue, enhances customer value, and supports our long-term business objectives.

As the Senior Director of Pricing, you will own the end-to-end pricing strategy, ensuring that our pricing models are competitive, aligned with market trends, and reflective of our brand value proposition. You will be a key decision-maker, influencing product and go-to-market strategies at the highest levels of the organization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a pricing strategy that aligns with the business unit’s overall business objectives and maximizes profitability.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis and regularly review market trends, customer preferences, and economic conditions to adjust pricing strategies effectively.
  • Lead pricing analysis and market research to stay ahead of competitors and identify opportunities for new pricing models
  • Consult with the cross-functional teams to develop pricing proposals, budgets and client negotiation strategies relating to RFPs and contract modifications.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to design and execute pricing models, discounting strategies, and promotions that drive revenue growth and optimize margins.
  • Lead the creation of dynamic pricing models for new products, services, and markets, using both cost-based and value-based pricing methods.
  • Oversee the pricing governance process, ensuring pricing decisions are data-driven, consistent, and compliant with company policies.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies, continuously improving based on results.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance on pricing trends, best practices, and innovations to senior leadership.
  • Build and manage a high-performing pricing team that can execute and scale the pricing function.
  • Partner with finance to forecast revenue impact of pricing decisions and support pricing analytics for accurate financial reporting and decision-making.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 12 years of proven experience in a senior pricing leadership role, preferably in the education space.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a deep understanding of pricing methodologies and their application in driving revenue and margin improvements.
  • Excellent experience with competitive analysis, market research, and price elasticity.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and pricing strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while balancing strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
