Articulate is looking for a Senior Product Designer II (Lead Review/Collab)to join our amazing team.

As a Senior Product Designer II, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic and executional design direction of our products. Your deep understanding of user-centered design principles and keen eye for detail will be the foundation of crafting outstanding and cohesive customer experiences. Our ideal candidate will take a strategic and hands-on role in the development of user-centered products that drive customer satisfaction and fuel business growth. Navigating ambiguity is a strong suit, and you deeply value collaboration using the three-legged stool product development model. You’re passionate about enabling customers with meaningful, self-aware feature work and fostering an internal creative culture of collaboration, positivity, and growth.

Take full responsibility for large undefined features and/or a whole product, and drive clarity through cohesive, forward-thinking, and industry-competitive design solutions

Clearly communicate complex concepts to stakeholders representing strategic and user-focused viewpoints with confidence and ease
Efficiently estimate work timelines, prioritize efforts across multiple verticals, and drive work forward without supervision.
Steer design decision-making to meet the needs of users while also aligning with our business goals, measuring solutions and outcomes against providing customer value.

Drive cross-functional teams forward as a known leader and expert-level resource working on multiple products concurrently
Mentor developing peers on processes, product knowledge, and design approach

What you'll do:

Design Thinking & Storytelling

  • Lead exploration for solving design problems across our family of SaaS products
  • Analyze user and stakeholder feedback to identify problems and synthesize new, elegant solutions to solve pain points
  • Use an expert level understanding of our products and assets, the competitive landscape, and our users in product decision-making
  • Participate in interviews with customers to gain new insights and synthesize research into findings for potential product improvements
  • Meet with the design team regularly to discuss product design decisions and transform product insights into intuitive, user-friendly application features

Design Execution

  • Craft efficient user flows, thoughtful wireframes, high-fidelity pixel-perfect designs, prototypes, and pattern documentation leveraging our design system
  • Create detailed design specs with all manner of states considered, well-annotated, and ready for handoff to our product development team
  • Validate creative ideas through rapid prototyping and user testingIdentify and proactively tackle future issues before they grow into something even bigger
  • Scope and define work into well-defined milestones and timeframesBreak down complex projects into simple systems that can be effectively designed and maintained by less experienced designers


  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product tripod members to strategically iterate on and ship new features regularly
  •  Cross team and technical boundaries to solve internal and customer problems
  • Have mastered the art of the stakeholder review; completely own the feedback and design support they require on your projects
  • Give guidance that unblocks others; show discretion in delegating tasks and focusing on higher level initiatives
  • Proactively identify technical and organizational design debt and build consensus on thoughtful solutions.
  • Lead Design QA with thorough testing of new features, while giving efficient guidance for dev and qa teams

Team Citizenship

  • Push forward the craft of product design with an eye on industry trends and best practices
  • Make a significant impact in the process of how design work is done, the operations of the design team, and the overall team culture
  • Assist with finding new design talent and guiding junior-mid level peers

You're the ideal candidate if:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
  • You are a well rounded product designer with at least 7-10 years professional experience in fully responsive web environments
  • You have a remarkable product-focused portfolio or prior experience in a product design role for an impressive consumer app, SaaS company, or agency
  • You have a deep understanding of and hands-on experience with modern UX design concepts and tools, as well as platform-specific constraints and guidelines
  • You are a leader among designers and inspire through your work and your knowledge of design systems, best practices, and creative thinkingYou deeply understand how to connect good design to the needs of our business to drive successful business outcomes
  • You have a passion for amazing product design and an appreciation for elegant user experiences
  • You are well-spoken and can present ideas effectively
  • You are highly motivated and self-directedYou have a high attention to detail and excellent follow-through 
  • You are an an outstanding team contributor providing thoughtful viewpoints on product design in a flexible and easygoing way
  • You are well-versed in giving and receiving feedback constructively
  • You are an open-minded thinker who’s constantly in search of engaging, usable interaction patterns, and cutting-edge design work in the real world
  • You well-versed in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools

$150,000 - $225,200 a year

The pay range for this position is $150,000 to $225,200 for all US locations. Articulate takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
