About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, youâll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

In-Person Tutoring in Hesperia, CA
Schedule: 8 hours, 2 sessions a week for 1 hour
Pay range is between $25 and $35

Ideal Candidate:

Experienced tutor comfortable supporting a 2nd-grade student with Autism, speech delay, and an active IEP.
Skilled in foundational literacy and math instruction, including phonemic awareness, phonics, sight words, vocabulary development, and kindergarten readiness skills.
Patient, structured, and encouraging, with the ability to provide intensive, step-by-step instruction for a student performing at a PreKâK level.
Strong ability to use visual supports, incentives, and positive reinforcement (e.g., visuals, stars, stickers) to maintain motivation and engagement.
Able to collaborate with existing services (ABA, OT, Speech) and reinforce skills across settings.
Creative and flexible in incorporating student interests (e.g., Roblox, Snoopy, character themes) to support engagement while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
Comfortable administering an academic assessment to guide instruction and track progress.
