Job Description | The College of Law is seeking a Temporary Exam Administrator is responsible for managing all aspects of exam coordination and operations. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and technical skills to manage exam scheduling, survey distribution, proctor coordination, and exam result processing. The role involves collaboration with faculty, staff, and students to ensure a smooth and compliant exam experience.
Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree required. Two (2) plus years of professional experience in an academic setting preferred.
Skills and Knowledge | Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Must be able to think strategically and analytically. Detail oriented with the ability to execute multiple tasks independently with accuracy in an organized manner. Must be able to work with a high level of autonomy with minimal supervision. Must be capable of working collegially with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff on a daily basis. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required due to high level interaction with faculty, students, alumni, and administrators. Must be capable of learning College of Law policies and procedures. Prior experience with Examsoft/Examplify is highly desired. Prior experience hiring, training, and managing staff and student workers highly desired. Prior experience working with databases and developing queries highly desired.
Responsibilities | Manage exam administration for the law school. This includes mid-term and final exam coordination including initiating the exam surveys to faculty; determining the exam schedule and assigning/reserving rooms; hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising exam proctors; recruiting exam administrator volunteers for each exam; collaborating with the disability access coordinator to ensure adequate accommodations and services for exams; communicating exam information to students, faculty, and staff; communicating exam deadline and submission information; export of exam answers from PrintX; sending exam results and accompanying final grading sheet to faculty; and communicating any missed deadlines or concerns to the Associate Dean of Faculty. Create grading sheets as directed. Work with students on variation requests for exam schedule conflicts.
