SUMMARY
Responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering Alliant training programs using a variety of media.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as consultant to conduct training needs assessments and develop curriculum to meet individual, department and organizational goals using adult learning techniques and theory;
- Delivers training to employees to ensure comprehensive understanding of technology and/or industry knowledge required to effectively and efficiently perform job responsibilities;
- Develops and distributes training related materials and job aides to support learning;
- Manages, schedules and administers division-specfic training, in-house semester classes, automation training and industry seminars;
- Participates in (and occasionally leads) multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure completion of Alliant Critical Success Factors and other company-wide initiatives;
- In the Director's absence, leads department meetings, serves as department spokesperson and oversees department operations;
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with using Learning Management Systems, preferably Cornerstone
- Six (6) or more years of related work experience:
--Proven experience building and implementing platforms or programs, preferably regarding talent management, grounded in HR principles, skills, and competencies.
--Demonstrated ability to identify critical job skills and apply workforce planning strategies to support succession planning and learning initiatives.
--Track record of developing innovative, skills-based solutions that drive internal mobility and align talent with organizational needs.
