The compensation for this appointment will range from $22.50 to $24.50 hourly and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this staff appointment. Position Summary Information
Summary
This position will assist in the planning and implementation of campus visits and admissions events for prospective students and their families. This position assists in organizing group tours, individual visits, and large-scale admissions events, ensuring each guest has a positive and engaging experience. The incumbent also regularly communicates with faculty, staff, and campus departments to coordinate logistics and provide accurate information related to campus visits and events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Provide excellent customer service to all campus visitors.
2. Assist in coordination, execution and evaluation of campus preview events.
3. Schedule and coordinate large group visits of high schools and community colleges.
4. Coordinate meeting/conference room and facility reservations for campus visits and events.
5. Schedule appointments, professor meetings, and class visits for campus tour visitors.
6. Assist in various technical support including website, text and email updates.
7. Assist in the evaluation and training of tour guides.
8. Receive incoming requests for appointments and campus tours.
9. Communicate regularly with registrants for campus tours and events.
10. Prepare materials for campus visits and events.
11. Assist with check-in for campus visits and events.
12. Perform data entry and administrative tasks to support daily office operations.
13. Schedule individual tours for admissions counselors.
14. Manage the transportation and setup of event materials across campus, ensuring timely delivery and setup, through use of university vehicles.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position could be responsible for assigning work and/or giving direction to part-time Student Workers, in order to complete work assignments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard or other office equipment. Requires visual acuity to read words and numbers and speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person or over the phone. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment, with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/PERMITS: Valid California Class “C” driver’s license.
